ANGLE SHAPES ACTIVITY SET
This hands-on activity set enables children to investigate the angles of 8 common 2D shapes. By using the set children learn how to measure, compare and add angles without really realising the how much they are learning.
Included in the activity set are 8 differant brightly coloured durable plastic shapes each measuring approx 10cm. The shapes included are; Equilateral triangle, Isosceles triangle, Scalene triangle, Right angle triangle, Parallelogram, Octagon, Rectangle and Square. Each of the shapes has the angles marked on one side and letters to the reverse. 1 angle ruler for measuring the angle and the length of the side, 16 double - sided activity cards and an activity guide.
The activity cards help your child to learn how to recognise, measure, compare and add angles on the 8 plastic shapes.
Everything is in the box to help your child start exploring angles as soon as it arrives.
This activity set is recommended for ages 8+ . In the national curriculum this set corresponds the the section on angles for key stages 2 and 3.
