REED SWITCH MOTOR
Project for a simple motor with automatic interrupter. As one of the 2 fixed magnets passes the reed switch, it is closed and the magnet coil is engaged.The interaction of the electro magnet and permanent magnet produce an incredibly fast revolution of the rotor. Please order 1,5 V mignon-battery separately.
Including in the reed switch motor kit are full construction diagrams and circuit diagrams along with the following parts; base (plywood), coil holder and magnet carrier (pine), side brackets (acrylic), battery holder (plastic), Disc magnets X 2 (ceramic), copper wire, switch (reed contact) and fixings.
Our project range are not intended as toys , these kits are to be used as learning aids to show different aspect learning, as well as building on design and construction skills Many of our kits have small parts so please keep out harms way when it comes to very young children. None of kits include tools or parts unless specified otherwise.
The package on most of our kits s very basic regarding presentation as this enables us to keep the prices down and help save the planet. The help of an adult in most case’s is required in order to complete the kits, it is also advised that when children are building these kits, an adult is always on hand to supervise.
