Robert Arm Digger
The Robot is good fun for older age children when it comes to learning about hydraulics. The kit comes in un-assembled and needs to be built with the assistant of an adult. The kit is designed for Key stage 3/4 (approximently 12 years plus) for Design and Technology.
This exicting project not only enables the builder to experiment with hydrolics and answer questions such as; why must the system be free of air? and what happens if I change the fluid levels? but also proves to be a challenging wood work project.
