Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to live in the times of the Romans, or walk amongst the Celts, or sit by a open fire with the Stoneage people. Well this section is all about getting as close up as possible with the past and the present, by the way of re-enactment and restored villages like Flag Fen near Peterborough. This is real hands on learning combined with fun days out.

Going out for the day is fun at the best of times and when this fun is combined with learning, the day is even better. Children love laughing, running, asking questions about things they have never seen, and picking things up and touching things, all of this can be done on a good learning day out. Here are few places to choose from, which our children loved, and we hope yours will too.
